This is the fourth part of a multi-segment guide on everything that you need to get started in Axie Infinity.
Axie Battles are the main concept of its gameplay. As we’ve already covered what an Axie is and its stats and abilities from our previous guides, we’ll be dissecting the battle interface of the game itself.
Axie battles are mostly done through “Adventure Mode” or “Arena”, in which players will be battling against AI opponents and other Players, respectively.
For the purpose of reviewing the battle interface, we will be using a screenshot from “Arena Mode” or PvP battles.
Using colored rectangles, we’ve highlighted each item in the screen and will describe each starting from the top left going to the right.
White – Player/Account name
Violet – Round number and order in which all Axies will be taking turns
Yellow – Cards in your opponent’s hand
Dark Orange – Game settings
Green – Your Axie Team
Red – The Opponent’s Axie Team
Blue – Player’s available energy
Pink – Player’s deck of remaining cards to draw
Light Orange – Player’s available cards in hand, organized by the Axies that uses the ability
Brown – Deck of used cards
